TiAL "Q" BOV Now In-Stock!


Carz Performance is excited to present the newest addition to the TiAL Sport product line.

- For use on turbo-charged and super-charged applications (Paxton, Vortec, etc.). The body and all internal components are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum alloy. It features a large 1.98 in (50.5mm) valve.

- The V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp gives a very clean and unique appearance. The clamp is anodized and uses Stainless Steel hardware for a long lasting, corrosion-free appearance.

- The valve seal utilizes a Viton O-ring that is clamped in place to prevent the possibility of sticking to the seat and pulling out. The valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated, hard anodize-coated for wear resistance.

- The Blow Off Valve also comes with our own machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting and bolt, with over sized 10mm hose barb for quick actuator response. The actuator has a high temp silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for long life.

- An aluminum or mild steel weld base mounting flange is furnished with each unit. Stainless Steel is available at an additional cost. The use of 6061 aluminum allows the housing to be anodized with a selection of colors.

- Through countless hours of R&D we were able to make the same size valve flow a staggering 60% more than the original design - that means 60% more air is blown off per cycle! This is the highest flowing BOV on the market.

Why your engine needs a damper:
Each time the air/fuel mixture inside a cylinder is ignited, the combustion that occurs creates a torque spike that is applied to the crankshaft through the piston and rod. This torque spike is so severe that it not only turns the crankshaft, it actually twists the crankshaft ahead of its normal rotation and then the crankshaft rebounds. This twisting action is known as torsional vibration. When these torque spikes and forces get into phase with the natural frequency, critical torsional harmonic vibrations occur and can be seriously destructive to the bearings and the crankshaft. Dampers are designed to control those destructive vibrations.

Rubber VS Silicone dampers:
FluidCritical harmonic vibrations occur numerous times in an engine's operating range. Stock rubber and elastomer-type dampers are frequency sensitive "tuned absorbers", and work at only one critical frequency. In the case of a stock rubber damper, it is tuned for a factory engine's critical harmonic vibrations. If you change the mass of pistons, rods, or the crankshaft, you change the natural frequency of the crankshaft assembly; therefore, the stock damper is no longer tuned to the new frequency of vibration, and you may be headed for early failure of expensive engine components. Dampers also create heat while they work, and rubber is a poor dissipator of heat. This heat and the exposure to the elements deteriorates rubber, causing it to crack and change durometer, which then leads to inertia ring slippage, damper failure, uncontrolled torsional vibration, and costly engine parts breakage.

4G63 Crower Stiff Spring & Titanuim Retainer Combo $275.00 -Designed for high rpm, Crower valve springs are wound from only the highest grade, super clean, chrome silicone alloy and feature proprietary processing procedures for consistent pressures. Crower titanium retainers are CNC machined from 6AL4V round bar titanium to exacting tolerances.
-The new single valve spring delivers 15% more pressure across the board than the factory part. Also, with a coil bind of 0.910", the Crower spring allows for more cam lift than factory springs will allow. Stock O.D., so no machine work is required to the cylinder head. Crower titanium retainers weigh in at 7 grams vs. stock steel at 14.5 grams. Pickup additional rpm's by reducing valve train weight.

The friction facing material is cerametallic to bundle the abuse of highly modified engines. With all cerametallic clutch systems, some chatter should be expected on low rpm startups. Featuring a single spring damper for both discs, this clutch design has strap lift and drive for both the pressure plate and the intermediate plate. A patented system evenly lifts both the main pressure plate and the intermediate plate providing a clean release for steetability. The EXEDY Street / Race Twin Plate Clutch also includes a lightweight billet chrome moly steel flywheel for maximum performance.
